Whenever someone asks me if a Casio is worth it, I won’t hesitate to tell them yes.
The brand is well known by everyone worldwide and supplies us with the coolest and most durable watches that there are for such a price that anyone can afford one.
But what are the things that make a Casio watch worth a couple of bucks?
Read on to find out more.
Casio And Their Heritage
Whether you are an enormous watch enthusiast or not, everyone knows Casio.
Almost everyone in the world can remember that it was their first own watch that they got from their parents, which probably found it somewhere in the supermarket.
But that doesn’t matter cause it was not expensive and lasted your whole childhood.
When the four Kashio brothers found the company in 1946, they would have never imagined that their watches would become such an icon in our society.
Their idea was to create products that would take away the amount of work and better the quality of life.
Well, cause of their calculators, we don’t have to do the math, and because of their watches, our lives got way better.
That first watch hit the market in 1974; this was the first-ever electronic watch.
The so-called Casiotron was sold like wildfire; everyone had to have one.
The watch was innovative and stylish, with a small computer screen that allowed the wearer to tell the time and tell the date.
Technology like this was groundbreaking technology back in the 70s.
The moment Casio went to become this successful was in 1984 when they released the Casio G-Shock. This is the watch every man has in his possession.
The G-Shock is a robust, rugged, yet technologically refined watch that can survive almost anything.
This is why men love them, you can wear this every day for years, and it will never break, and it won’t break your bank account cause the watches are around $100.
Casio didn’t forget about the ladies tho, though their smaller models are trendy among the women.
So in the 1990s, Casio made a Babyshock which was created especially for the ladies and children.
Amazing Value For The Money
Don’t hesitate when you see the price of a Casio watch.
They are really priced at the range where everyone can afford one. I remember getting my sister her first watch, a small 24-26mm sized gold Casio.
The watch cost me $40,- and after one battery swap, she still wears it to this day.
You need to pull out more than 40 bucks for the G-shock watches.
But still having a price tag of around $100,- it is not something that’s not obtainable.
And remember, this $100 will get you something that will last 5, even 10 years if you take good care of it.
Even if it brakes, it’s just $100- that’s the equivalent of a Saturday night with the boys.
Although I don’t have official prices, I think you can get small and medium-sized Casio watches in supermarkets and shopping malls for as little as $20.
So the next time you think about spending that money on a Casio, do it.
So the watches from Casio are durable, iconic, and affordable.
More as these reasons are not needed.
Everyone Needs At least One Watch
When I say everyone, I mean everyone.
Whoever you are, where ever you come from.
Everyone needs to own one watch.
This jewel you can wear every day, with every outfit, to every occasion.
And if there is one watch that should be owned to fill that one spot.
It should be a Casio.
I don’t mean that everyone should hold the same G-shock or that there is this one particular model.
Casio offers a wide variety of sizes, colours and materials for their watches.
So there is something in their line-up for everyone.
So Is A Casio Watch Worth It?
Yes, yes, and yes! I cannot lie to you, but a watch from Casio is really worth it.
And if you don’t own one, go and get yourself one as quickly as you can.
Believe me, you won’t regret it.
